Marsh purchased at Rockland
In 2009 RWA bought a local marsh and with the help of NE created a wetland area for the benefit of both wildfowl and waders. Initially the marsh was completely overgrown but following topping & weed wiping the reed & pin rush was controlled. A splash area and also widening of the intersection of two dykes to form a permanent pond were created.
